      Mrs. Myra McGhee-Pittman, MBA/MSL lives in her hometown of Durham, NC with her husband and nephew/son.  She began her tax preparation career working as a Data Entry Clerk for H&R Block in 1989 after graduating high school in Durham, NC the summer of 1988.  She continued to train and work as a Professional Tax Preparer for H&R Block during the busy tax season for several years.

       In 1990, Myra started working for Central Carolina Bank (CCB) in the Mortgage Secondary Marketing/Shipping Department.  It was there she became an NC Notary Public in 1996.  A few years later she began working as a Residential Mortgage Loan Closer/Shipper at First Union/Wachovia Bank.  She remained in the mortgage industry for 26 years ending in 2016.  During the last 10 years or her mortgage career, she worked as a Loan Administration Manager for the Loan Closer/Shippers and Loan Processors at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and lastly as the Closing Supervisor/Compliance Specialist at another organization.  She worked closely along beside Mortgage Loan Underwriters, Loan Officers and Mortgage Brokers which allowed her to extend her knowledge. 

Currently, Myra is employed at The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) as a Technical Support Specialist in the Peer Review department. She also magically operates a few small home-based businesses as an Avon Representative since 2016, an Independent Travel Agent since April 2020, and an Independent Jewelry Consultant for Paparazzi.  Myra also owns and operate an online women’s gently used clothing store,  ReStyle Boutique.  She is also a Life Insurance agent in NC and plan to add additional states in the future,

Myra graduated from Durham Technical Community College in 1991 with an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration. In 2008 she graduated with her first Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration: Management and Organizational Development with a minor in HR Management.  She later completed her second Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) in 2014.  Both undergraduate degrees were obtained from the University of Mount Olive.

Myra later earned her dual master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and Leadership (MSL) in 2013 and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) with a focus in Leadership from Walden University.  She has additional certifications she is currently pursuing as well.
